Travel: Tour Istanbul in May '07 with Rotaractors from around the world

Want to visit Turkey?
Rotaractors in Istanbul are hosting Route Istanbul, a long weekend dedicated to volunteerism, solidarity, friendship and fun.
Between May 16-20, 2007, Rotaractors from around the world will gather in Turkey. To register, you must be a member of Rotaract, pay the 120 euro registration and cover your transportation expenses. Home stays will be provided to all participants.

Travel: Tour Ukraine in June '07 with Rotaractors from around the world

Rotaractors from around the world are invited to apply for a trip to Ukraine from June 1-10.
Rotaract clubs from across this Eastern European nation will cover the expenses of participation (accommodations, transportation, food, excursions, etc.); you pay for airfare. The tour will take Rotaractors to Kiev, Kharkov, Poltava and Rivne.

Apply for a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship

Looking to study abroad?
It doesn't matter how old you are or whether or not you've lived abroad before, you can apply. The Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship awards recipients with $26,000 for one academic-year of study in a country where they've not yet lived.

Set sail on The Scholar Ship with a $5,000 award

This is a new initiative exclusively for Rotaractors.
The $5,000 award will be given to members who have achieved a demonstrated record of community leadership and academic achievement. In addition to their studies abroad, Rotaractors will conduct community service projects at each port of call. To apply, you must be a member of Rotaract and either enrolled as a university student or the recipient of a bachelor’s degree.

Apply for a Rotary World Peace Scholarship

You don't have to be a Rotaractor to qualify for Rotary's World Peace Scholarship. If you plan to study peace, conflict resolution and international understanding, this is a great opportunity. As an applicant, you must choose among seven pre-identified study institutions listed at this website.
The deadline for applications for this scholarship to Rotary Clubs in Rotary District 7620 is April 25, 2007. The date for interviews by the clubs’ selection committees will be in mid-May. The date for interviews by our Rotary District’s selection committee will be in early to mid-June 2007.
